Two full service agencies, Stamford, CT-based Rothstein-Tauber, Inc. and Jersey City, NJ's Directions for Decisions, have announced that they will merge. The resulting company, to be known as RTi-DFD, will be among the US Top 50 Agencies.
The new organization will be headed by Mel Rothstein and Joseph F. Baldi, both of whom held Board and Chair positions within the professional association CASRO. David A. Rothstein becomes COO, and Lawrence Rubenstein EVP of the new company. Richard C. Witt will be promoted to EVP and continue to head up the company's Columbus, Ohio office.
According to Rothstein, 'The combination of RTi and DFD will catapult us to among the top 50 US Research Companies in domestic volume and the combined professional staffs will offer synergies to service RTi-DFD clients with unparalleled capabilities'. Baldi says that the company's customized solutions and sound proprietary research processes will make it not only a valuable resource to clients, but one of the most exciting and innovative players in the industry.
Key sectors covered by the new company include Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial Services, Health Care and Pharmaceuticals, and Home and Household Products and Services. RTi-DFD will maintain its Headquarters in Stamford, CT, with branches in Jersey City, NJ and Columbus, Ohio.
