Healthcare Research Worldwide (HRW) has promoted former Associate Directors Nicola Vyas and Gillian Newbold to the position of Research Director. Before joining the firm, Vyas spent three years as an Associate Director with GfK Martin Hamblin. During her career, she has worked across the OTC, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. In her new role, she will focus on the development of new qual and quant methodologies, the packaging of existing methods and approaches, and adding value to analysis. Newbold joined HRW as Associate Director last year, having previously worked at healthcare research specialist Insight Research Group. Since joining the firm, she has led a wide range of UK and international qual and quant projects in areas such as market understanding, profile optimisation, branding and positioning. She will now focus on business development and a number of specific new initiatives. Based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, HRW is part of the MMR Group.
