Market research consultancy The Leading Edge has promoted Stephen Spencer to the position of Managing Director of its Asian business in Singapore.
Spencer is a 15-year industry veteran, who has worked for the company for the past eight years. Most recently, he was Global Head of Quantitative Research, during which time he developed a suite of new quant business tools which he will now launch in the Asian business market.
He previously worked as a Manager at Reed Business Information, prior to which he was a Senior Research Executive at BMRB International.
Current MD Dominic Lefebvre will remain in Singapore for a short time to hand over the role to Spencer, before returning to Sydney to take up the newly created post of Global Director of Qualitative Research.

Headquartered in Australia, The Leading Edge is part of the Photon Group, which is currently attempting to raise AUS$114.6m through a share offering, which it will use for debt reduction and to ensure the firm can fund future earn-outs.
