Rentrak | August 25 2009 |
Multi-screen measurement firm Rentrak has appointed Richard Hochhauser and Anne MacDonald to its Board of Directors.
Hochhauser is an Adjunct Professor at New York University and a member of the Board of John Wiley & Sons, and the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation. He was formerly the President and CEO of direct marketing agency Harte-Hanks, and also serves on the Boards of four non-profit organizations.
MacDonald is EVP, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for The Travelers Companies, where she is responsible for the firm’s marketing and serves on the company's management committee. She previously worked as a Partner with The Rockefeller Consulting Group and prior to that, served as the President and CMO of Macy's, after a spell as CMO for Citigroup's consumer division. Her previous experience includes time as VP of Brand Management for PepsiCo's Pizza Hut Division and in leadership roles at N.W. Ayer advertising.
‘Rentrak is pleased to welcome two such esteemed and diversified marketing executives to our Board of Directors,’ said CEO Bill Livek. ‘As Rentrak continues to define its leadership role in multi-platform measurement, we will look to both Richard and Anne for strategic guidance to fulfill our wider mission of merging our broadcast and cable viewing metrics technology leadership with the direct marketing discipline and systems.’
Rentrak is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with additional offices in Los Angeles, New York and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.
Last week, the firm announced it would be partnering with FLO TV to launch what they describe as the mobile TV industry’s first comprehensive viewership and ad impression reporting.
