Susannah PalmerUK agency Leapfrog Research & Planning has appointed Susannah Palmer and Abigail Moorcock as Research Manager and Research Executive respectively in its retail division.

Leapfrog provides qual, quant and digital research around three sectors of expertise: retail; health & wellbeing; and branding, communications & media, in the UK and internationally. The firm is part of consulting group Cello which recently reported a ‘marked pick up’ in its MR activity, for the year ended 31 December 2009.

Palmer joins from GfK NOP, where she was a Research Manager in the media division. With a background in research for broadcasters and online audiences, she will offer Leapfrog’s clients her expertise in questionnaire design and development.

Moorcock, who will join the retail team as a Research Executive in May, previously worked at TNS Research International, where she carried out independent research and in-depth analysis for B2B clients.

‘The wide range of experience Susannah and Abigail bring will be invaluable to our retail team,’ says Debra Walmsley, Group Director of Retail. ‘They were both very enthusiastic about how quantitative research is developing going forward, so they will be responsible for exploring new techniques’.
