In the UK, Insight Research Group has promoted Lee Gazey to the newly created role of Commercial Development Manager; while appointing Emma Stewart and Jenny Service as Senior Research Executives and Siobhan Connolly and Anthony Rowbottom as Research Executives.
Founded in 1983, Cello-owned Insight Research Group, which has offices in Central London and in New Jersey, USA, focuses on global healthcare marketing research.
Gazey, who joined the firm two years ago as Research Director, has more than 10 years’ management and research experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
He was previously Business Director, Pharmaceuticals at qual agency Holden Pearmain, before which he held the same title at Millward Brown, and was a Key Account Director at IMS Health. He began his career in 1999 with Synavant, and has since worked extensively in the areas of physician and patient segmentation, branding research, communication effectiveness, sales and marketing effectiveness and NPD.
In his new role, Gazey will lead business development, as well as continuing to manage a number of Insight’s key accounts.
‘We have created this role to help us to generate high levels of customer-centred innovation and re-energise the internal processes,’ explained Joint MD, Jane Shirley. ‘Lee will help to liberate talent, tap into existing and new expertise and ultimately will enable Insight to deliver better research for clients.’
The four new hires have previous agency experience. Most recently, Stewart worked at Ipsos; Service joins from Directions Research & Marketing; Connolly was at The Research Works; and Rowbotton comes from Kadence International.
‘We hope this will be the start of long and fulfilling careers at Insight for each of them,’ added Shirley.
