Julia Locklear and Caroline HenneUsability research specialist nurago, which is majority owned by GfK, has appointed Julia Locklear as Research Director North America and promoted Caroline Henne to the role of Regional Director South West Europe.

nurago combines research about consumer behaviour and is a member of GfK Group. The firm has more than 50 employees based in offices in Hanover, Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and London.

Locklear joins with more than ten years’ research experience, gained primarily in the market research industry working for companies including ForeSee Results and ZAAZ/Wunderman. She has also served in several management positions for research projects at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research.

In her new role, based in Los Angeles, Locklear will grow and maintain current client relationships, while assisting in the planning and implementation of international research projects.

Thomas Knauer, CEO and founder, states: ‘Julia’s research background and outstanding expertise will be beneficial to effectively serve and assist our clients’ needs. I am confident she will play a key role in our global expansion.’

Henne was previously responsible for opening the first international nurago office in London, and is now part of the International Client Services team.
