Echo Research | September 29 2011 |
In London, reputation specialist Echo Research has appointed Sam Knowles as Integrated Services Director, working in partnership with the firm’s new owner Ebiquity, and responsible for developing and selling integrated research services.
Echo has 45 staff in offices in London, New York, Paris and Singapore, and focuses on brand reputation and stakeholder insights, as well as analysis of social and other non-paid media.
In May, media and marketing analytics firm Ebiquity acquired TCRG Holdings Limited, Echo Research’s parent company, in a deal worth an initial £3.5m in cash, and up to £10m if Echo achieves certain targets over the next two years.
Knowles joins from global PR firm Salt, where he had served as Planning and Strategy Director since 2006. His background includes business development with blue chip national and multi-national brands in the retail, FMCG and professional services sectors.
Echo CEO Sandra Macleod comments: ‘The incorporation of Echo into Ebiquity means that, for the first time, a single company can analyse and source insight from marketing spend across all channels - advertising, sponsorship, traditional PR, and social and digital media. We have brought Sam on board to turbo-charge the integration of our services and lead the development of new approaches that bring together all our disciplines.’
