In the UK, Gillian Newbold (nee Thorne) has recently joined Healthcare Research Worldwide (HRW) as Associate Director.
Newbold joins from Insight Research Group with more than seven years healthcare research experience gained both agency and clientside. During her career, she has led a wide range of UK and international projects, both qual and quant, including extensive work in areas such as market understanding, profile optimisation, branding and positioning.
Based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, HRW is part of the MMR Group and works across many areas of healthcare research. Last summer, the firm promoted research veteran Jeanette Kaye to its Board.
