In Sydney, Australia, Nielsen Online has hired Matt Bruce for the newly created position of National Sales Director, responsible for establishing structure, systems and processes throughout the firm’s sales teams.
Bruce has held a number of executive positions in the online industry. Most recently he was General
Manager of home improvement web site, homesite.com.au, where he more than tripled revenues.

Nielsen Online was formed in October from the combination of the Nielsen//NetRatings division with BuzzMetrics. The company measures and analyses online audiences, advertising, video, consumer-generated media, word of mouth, commerce and consumer behaviour.
