The Nielsen Company has hired Celia Fan, previously of Microsoft, to head up its Media business in Hong Kong.
Fan will be a member of the Nielsen management team and will report to MD Ms Fanny Chan of The Nielsen Company Hong Kong and Bernard Hughes, Head of Nielsen Media Services, Greater China.
Previously, she was Regional Research and Market Insights Lead for Microsoft Advertising; and before this Research Director for Turner International Asia Pacific Ltd for seven years and Asiaweek for four years. She began her MR career at Nielsen company Survey Research Group Hong Kong in the late 1990s. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Hull, UK and is a graduate of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
