Harris Interactive | April 1 2009 |
In the US, Harris Interactive President and CEO Kimberley Till has brought in another former TNS colleague, by appointing Marc Levin as Senior Vice President and General Counsel responsible for managing the firm’s worldwide legal affairs.
Levin joins former TNS Chief Information Officer Enzo Micali who has just taken up the post of Global EVP of Technology and Operations at Harris.
Levin spent five years at TNS, in several positions including that of SVP and General Counsel, North America. Prior to this, he was an Associate at Thacher, Proffitt and Wood in New York City where he specialized in corporate and securities law. He earned his BA in Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Boston College, and his BSc in Economics from Cornell University. He is a member of the New York and Massachusetts bars.
‘We are delighted that someone with Marc's diverse legal experience and knowledge of the market research industry has joined us,’ said Till. ‘I have seen Marc in action. He will be a great addition to our senior executive team.’
Yesterday, Harris Interactive announced that up to 30 UK jobs could go, as part of its plans to streamline the business. Last month, the firm axed 90 US staff, in addition to the 81 redundancies made in October and December last year.
