Canadian-based public opinion and market research firm Angus Reid Strategies has appointed Jaideep Mukerji and Hamish Marshall to its North American public affairs practice.

Mukerji previously worked as a Senior Analyst at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and as a Journalist in the Middle East, India and Africa. He has advised political campaigns in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia and provided strategic polling to large corporations. Most recently, Mukerji served as Chief of Staff to Federal Foreign Affairs Critic Bob Rae. He holds a dual master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Columbia University in Economics and Public Administration.

Before joining, Marshall served as the Manager of Strategic Planning in the Office of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, where he oversaw quantitative and qualitative public opinion research projects. He has advised political campaigns in several countries, including Bangladesh, Britain, Canada and Norway, and helped establish a chain of radio stations in Afghanistan. Marshall holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.
