In the US, Harris Interactive has appointed former TNS SVP Berkeley Scott as Senior Vice President of Global Accounts & Business Development.
He joins with more than 15 years’ experience in business research. As SVP of Financial Services at TNS, Scott was instrumental in growing a new financial services segment line of business in North America. Prior to this, he held various senior research and P&L roles at J.D. Power Asia Pacific, AIG Japan and United Healthcare. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics from McGill University in Montreal.
In his new role, Scott will be responsible for developing and implementing the business development strategy for Harris Interactive in North America. He will also work closely with the heads of Europe, Asia, and Canada to create and manage global accounts.

Earlier this month, Harris Interactive reported a 30.4% fall in revenue for the third quarter of 2009; from $57.3m in 2008 to $39.9m this year. The revenue decline impacted nearly all the firm’s geographic regions, including the US, where revenue was down 33% for the quarter.
