Harris Interactive | June 3 2009 |
In the US, Harris Interactive has appointed Robert Cox as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, to oversee global accounting, financial planning and analysis, corporate development, treasury, legal and investor relations functions.
Cox most recently served as SVP, CFO and Treasurer at auto software firm DealerTrack Holdings, prior to which, he held senior financial positions at Triton International and Green Stamp America. He began his career in the audit practice at KPMG and holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
In his new role, he reports to President and CEO Kimberly Till, who comments: ‘Bob has exceptional expertise and executional skills as a financial executive of a publicly traded company. With his proven track record of managing high growth with profitability, we are confident that he will contribute significantly to the company's global growth strategies.’
Cox assumes the role from Deborah Rieger-Paganis, who was appointed interim CFO in December, as part of Till’s restructuring initiative, which has included job cuts in the US and UK; the formation of new vertical teams; and changes in senior management.
