Thornton - Global Sales & Operations Director - Cint AB
Richard has over 10 years experience in consultancy, operations and commercial strategy positions within the research industry, building up a particular expertise in the online research sector. A BA Honours graduate in Human Resource Management and International Marketing, Richard started his career as a Research Analyst at CAP Ventures, working across Europe with clients like Hewlett Packard, Canon, and Xerox. He then moved to Ciao Surveys to start up its UK operation, subsequently becoming co-European MD. He was also instrumental in setting up its Sydney office.
In February 2009, Richard joined Cint AB, a technology and solutions provider to the research industry, to set up its UK operation and to introduce Cint's Panel Exchange market place - now OpinionHUB - and range of self-service research tools to the market. In December 2009, he was appointed Global Commercial Director for the Group.
Richard is a member of ESOMAR, MRS, BIG, and Media Research Group, and has been a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.
