In Germany, Synovate Healthcare has appointed Alexander Edte as Senior Research Manager in its Custom Healthcare team. Edte joins with more than 15 years’ market research experience, eight of which were spent within the pharmaceutical industry in both client and agency side roles. He joins from Kantar Health (formerly TNS Healthcare), where he was Group Manager for the Brand Management sector. Prior to this, he worked at GfK and Pharmacia on both customer satisfaction research and multiple therapy area projects. In his new role reporting to Healthcare Leader Northern Europe, Manfred Eberlein, Edte will lead the business in Munich, where he will be responsible for quant custom research, brand positioning and forecasting. ‘Alexander’s extensive experience, both within market research and the pharmaceutical industry, makes him a welcome addition to our team and indeed, the wider business,’ states Eberlein.
