US-based audience targeting specialist eXelate has hired former comScore marketer Khurrum Malik for its newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for product marketing for the firm's data solutions.
Through its offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Paris and Tel Aviv, eXelate offers data on purchase intent for more than 400 million online visitors. In addition, it has developed modeling algorithms to provide insights on prospects, deliver relevant marketing messages, and measure digital ad effectiveness.
Malik (pictured) joins with more than 17 years' experience in the analytics, mobile, and software industries. Most recently at comScore, he served as VP of Marketing, and prior to this, he held leadership roles at Accenture and Microsoft.
In his new role, Malik reports to CEO Mark Zagorski, who comments: 'Khurrum's experience and proven ability to build and scale marketing organizations in the analytics, mobile, and software sectors will be an important asset in driving eXelate's global growth. As we expand our platform to incorporate second and third screen data, we will leverage Khurrum's multi-platform expertise to bring new value directly to marketers and agencies worldwide.'
