Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has promoted Mark Orne to Executive Director, Worldwide Market Research, to oversee reporting on general industry and consumer trends, as well as advise on new technology and new business ventures.
Orne has been with the company since 2002. Prior to this, he served as Project Director at Lieberman Research Worldwide, managing worldwide entertainment research.
In his new role, he reports to Jane Mohon, VP Worldwide Media, Digital Marketing, Market Research and National Promotions. He will continue with previous duties managing all phases of primary quant and qual research projects, including surveys and focus groups, for the marketing divisions.
‘Mark has been instrumental in advising on important buying insights affecting consumer decision-making as well as industry trends,’ said Mohon. ‘His contribution to our overall understanding of the market and what consumers want is invaluable.’
