US media measurement and research firm Rentrak Corporation has opened an East Coast sales and research office in the in the Chrysler Building in New York City.
Rentrak offers research and audience measurement tracking programmes across theatre, home entertainment, on-demand, DVR, linear TV, interactive TV, broadband and mobile content. The firm processes daily, census-level data representing 70 million set-top boxes, while its TV Essentials system processes linear TV data from more than nine million set-top boxes.
President and CEO Ken Papagan comments: 'As part of our commitment to better serve our growing client base, we are pleased to open our first East Coast office at the epicentre of the East Coast media industry.'
Rentrak is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with additional offices in Los Angeles and now New York City.
The firm recently appointed Cory Sher as Director of Business Development for its Advanced Media and Information (AMI) division.
