In the US, MVL Group's online research agency Carbonview Research has partnered with RelevantView to enhance its respondent quality technology and validation process.
Carbonview's sister-company Target Research Group will be the first of the MVL companies to take advantage of the partnership, by combining its own post-interview respondent 'scrubbing' technique with RelevantView's RelevantID de-duping, fingerprinting technology.
The latter tool works by gathering more than 70 data points about a participant's computer, including IP address, screen resolution, and browser versions. These are then encrypted to ensure the participant's privacy, and saved as a single ID.
When that person logs in to take a survey, an ID code - generated in real-time - is screened against the IDs on file, and if a duplicate is identified, it is flagged to enable the survey tool to prevent the respondent from completing the survey.
'Our ability to add to our services while providing our MVL Group sister company partners with the same platform, represents a unique opportunity for Carbonview, our partners and clients,' stated EVP Rich Ratcliff.
