In the UK, full service agency Opinium Research has reported a 350% increase in sales for the trading year 2008/2009.
During the period, the firm has added more than 50 new clients, tripled the size of its UK panel, and established a specialist IFA panel that allows joint tracking surveys with the UK population.
In addition, the company has added international research to its portfolio of services.
Director Dan Foreman comments: 'Our growth has been down to our focus on good work, client intimacy, diversification and the flexibility to meet clients' needs. We know what our strengths are and in 2009/10 we will continue our program of aggressive organic growth, especially in the UK and Europe.'
The firm was launched in 2007 by YouGov's former Head of Market Research Mark Hodson, to offer research in customer loyalty, employee satisfaction, public sector, financial services and media research.
