MR and consulting group Cello has appointed a new senior management team to lead its subsidiary RS Consulting. Jane Shirley adds the role of Chairwoman of RS to her existing responsibilities as CEO of Cello Research and joint MD of Insight, while RS's Group MD Neil Swann is leaving.
Phil Stubington and Chris Stead become joint MDs and share responsibility for the day-to-day running of RS. Stead was until now the firm's FD and is a qualified chartered accountant with experience from senior finance roles at TNS and the CIPD, while Stubington was most recently head of the company's research team and has more than 20 years' MR experience.
The senior team is completed by Group Business Development Director Kate Anderson and Bryan Atkin, Director and expert in industrial, commercial and institutional research.
Swann leaves after three years following the successful integration of RS Consulting, Kudos and Consensus, a process he was appointed to manage; and returns to consulting and non-commercial interests, but will continue to advise the Cello Group.
Vincent Nolan, Chairman of Cello Research Group, says Shirley has 'played a major role in building Insight into one of the top specialist healthcare research agencies globally and will be a great asset in leading the business into its next exciting phase.' He adds: 'Neil has left the business in great shape and his legacy will stand RS in good stead. We wish him every success.'
RS Consulting has offices in London and Chicago and is on the web at www.rsconsulting.com .
