US-based Cambiar - the management consultancy dedicated to the market research industry - has opened a Marketing and Product Consulting Practice, to help companies position and market themselves and their product portfolios.
The new division will be headed by Beth Rounds, who has previously held senior positions at MarketTools, Greenfield Online and GfK Custom Research, and is known for her expertise in research into company branding, positioning and product marketing.
'Our clients are increasingly asking us questions such as How do we stand out from the crowd? and How do we position our products and services for growth?' explained Cambiar Managing Partner Simon Chadwick. 'It became obvious that we needed an expert in marketing, and as I have known and admired Beth for a long time, it was clear she would be the ideal candidate to lead this new team.'
In June, Cambiar opened the Research Transformation Consulting Practice; dedicated to helping research departments in major organizations achieve relevance and impact.
