Online specialist Research Now is to offer Experian's consumer segmentation tool Mosaic, across its panels globally.
Mosaic is a people classification tool, used to gain insight into local consumer markets, behaviours and lifestyles. In the UK, Experian recently updated it to reflect demographic and social changes that have occurred in British society since 2003.
Research Now says that combining the tool with its own profiled online panels will provide researchers with a resource with which to target and segment sample, while enabling them to analyse research data at person, household or postcode level.
Mosaic, which is available in 29 countries, classifies one billion consumers worldwide and is available across China, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
'The partnership provides a competitive advantage for our clients around the globe; as such a detailed classification will enable them to deliver highly targeted and profiled information,' explained Research Now CEO Chris Havemann.
Nigel Wilson, MD of Experian's Business Strategies division, added that the partnership will offer the market research industry 'endless insight possibilities'.
