In Germany, Ciao Surveys Managing Director Alberto Abisso is leaving after five years, following Toluna's acquisition of Ciao's parent company Greenfield Online.
Greenfield Online, which bought Ciao Surveys in 2005, was acquired by Microsoft last year, and then sold to Toluna in June, for $40m (just over £24m).
During a handover period, Abisso will continue to work in Ciao Surveys' Munich office, providing day-to-day management until the end of the year. He will also be advising Toluna management on European integration issues.
Albisso joined Ciao Surveys in 2005 as VP of Operations, and was promoted to his current position two years later. During his time with the firm, he has been involved in all aspects of operations and general management, including the migration of the firm's operations from Madrid to Munich, the opening of the Romania office, and the integration of Ciao Surveys and Greenfield Online's panels.
In a statement, Abisso said he was leaving to 'pursue other career opportunities' as an operations executive.
In January, Abisso's former colleague, MD of Europe Richard Thornton, also left the firm after five years, to take up the post of MD at panel firm Cint in the UK.
