Consumer research firm Iconoculture has appointed former GfK Roper Consulting executives Nick Chiarelli in London and Anders Brogren in Sweden, to lead its expansion into Western Europe.
Minneapolis headquartered Iconoculture integrates consumer information from multiple data sources, and combines it with interpretation and analysis from its Advisory Services team. In August, the firm launched the Global Packaging Advisory Service, to reveal how consumers' values influence their packaging preferences.
Chiarelli joins as Director, Europe, to lend his consumer insights expertise to the Advisory Services team as a Global Consumer Strategist. Most recently, he worked at GfK Roper Consulting, where he spent 11 years specialising in global consumer trends and leading strategic product development initatives. His experience covers both quant and qual techniques across many markets, gained over more than 20 years in the industry.
Brogen joins as a Senior Advisor, with many years of experience in market research, international business strategy and development, and brand strategy. He also previously worked at GfK Roper Consulting, where he was Global Managing Director and part of the Management Board of GfK NOP. During his career, Brogren also held executive positions with SIFO (now TNS/RI), TNT, Scandinavian Airlines and SCA. He currently acts as a Senior Advisor for market research technology firm Dapresy.
'Iconoculture's targeted expansion into Europe is an exciting milestone for us,' said CEO Dan Frawley. 'With Nick and Anders at the helm charting the course in Europe, we're now able to deliver insights to a wider base of global corporations and agencies.'
