US TV ad analytics firm Ace Metrix has completed a $6m B Round of financing, which it plans to use to expand sales and marketing of its online TV ad effectiveness measurement service. The new funding brings the company's total raised to $9m.
Earlier in the year Ace Metrix officially launched its software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription service - also called Ace Metrix - to help advertisers and agencies understand the performance of their ad creative, track the creative performance of competitor ads, and respond to consumer trends and feedback.
This latest round of funding was led by Leapfrog Ventures, with support from existing investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Palomar Ventures. As part of the deal, Leapfrog Ventures Co-Director Pete Sinclair will join the Ace Metrix Board of Directors.
'Our growth this year illustrates strong customer value in the real-time, actionable television advertising effectiveness analytics that we deliver,' stated Steve Goldman, co-founder and CEO of Ace Metrix. 'Leapfrog, with their proven expertise in building companies, is a natural partner to help take us to the next level.'
