Web-based market research solutions firm RelevantView is being merged into database technology developer Imperium LLC. Both organisations are based in Connecticut, USA, and both were founded by Marshall Harrison, CEO of the new, combined company.
The companies will continue with existing management and will be known as Imperium. The name RelevantView will continue to be used for the firm's proprietary server-based tracking technology, which monitors user behavior and activity on web sites and related applications. Digital fingerprinting technology RelevantID will also continue under its current name. Both products will now be sold by Imperium.
Founded in 1990, Imperium specializes in the design, development, implementation and support of database systems for business intelligence and integrated e-business solutions including market research, financial services, telecoms, healthcare, marketing, advertising and web design.
Harrison says integrating his businesses into one company 'will enable us to focus on the development of advanced solutions to meet the technological needs of market research, advertising, marketing services, web design, and usability professionals.' He adds: 'As an integrated company, we will continue to provide RelevantID and RelevantView clients with the same level of high quality, innovative, and flexible services they have grown to trust.'
