The Leading Edge Revamps Sydney Team

Australian insights consultancy The Leading Edge has restructured its Sydney-based business with the return of overseas executives, internal promotions and the appointment of a new senior specialist.

Since its launch in 1990, The Leading Edge has grown to a business of four offices in Australia, Asia and Europe. The firm's services include NPD, insight development, brand development, consumer/customer insight driven strategy, marketing effectiveness and retail and shopper analysis.

Its new Sydney-based leadership team includes; Stephen Spencer, who has returned from his role as Asia MD, and Chris Paxton, who was promoted from within the Sydney team, as joint Managing Partners of the Sydney division.

The Asia office is now run by Dom Lefebvre, who launched the operation four years ago. He is supported by former Blackbox Research/YouGov executive Steve Nuttall, who joined the firm as Managing Partner in February.

In Sydney, Liz Jones and Seonaid Anderson have both been promoted to Senior Director Client Consulting roles, while James Lesage and Karen Ibbotson move up to Director of Client Consulting positions.

To further strengthen the senior team, the firm has also appointed ex-deputy MD of Added Value, Irma Del Mundo, to provide an advanced skill set and expertise in branding and innovation. Before joining Added Value nearly ten years ago, Del Mundo held client-side positions at Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble.
