Canadian customer analytics provider iPerceptions has reported a 10% increase in revenues to C$4.8m for the year 2009, from C$4.4m the previous year.
Additionally, during 2009, gross margin as a percentage of revenues improved to 60% from 53% in 2008.
For the fourth quarter of 2009, gross margin as a percentage of revenue was 60% compared with 58% for the same period in 2008.
Net loss and comprehensive loss for Q3 2009 was C$728k compared to C$740k for the prior year period.
In the fourth quarter, iPerceptions launched the A&B Interactive Dashboard, to enable marketers and web analytics professionals to combine behavioral or clickstream data, with 'Voice-of-Customer' data for a granular understanding of consumer behaviour and sentiment.
During the quarter, the firm also acquired a number of 'Web Analytics Solutions Profiler' (WASP) tools from industry practitioner Stéphane Hamel. These, it says, complement its 4Q and webValidator solutions by providing site owners and web analytics professionals with a way to understand how their web analytics solution is implemented and improve data quality.
'Despite a turbulent economic climate, we strategically expanded our product offerings in anticipation of future analytic trends,' stated President and CEO Claude Guay. 'Our decision to invest in diversifying our portfolio leaves us better positioned than ever to continue our role as leaders in delivering value through consumer-driven insight.'
