BDRC Rebrands as BDRC Continental

London-based market research agency BDRC has rebranded as BDRC Continental to mark its merger with Continental Research, which it acquired from US ratings giant Arbitron two years ago.

Dr Cris TarrantAt the time, Continental Research operated in the financial services and travel sectors, while also focusing on media/advertising, public sector and technology research.

With a headcount of more than 100, the newly formed BDRC Continental offers an expanded range of services including viewing facilities, advanced analytics, and many forms of data collection including a national field force and e-reporting and Business Omnibus.

The combined firm will now use the strapline 'providing intelligence' on all its communications, and has launched a new visual identity and web site to celebrate the merger.

The firm is led by Dr Cris Tarrant, co-founder and CEO of BDRC.

'By refreshing our branding we hope to have created a visual identity that sends a strong message to the market that BDRC Continental is a major player positioned for future growth,' Tarrant explained. 'However, while today we're unveiling a new look, a new name and an expanded list of services, our core business and values remain the same.'
