Indian-based KPO group Annik Technology Services has announced the opening of a Middle East office located at Abu Dhabi, UAE, and the appointment of key personnel in Japan and North America.
Annik, which provides value added services for MR and data management clients and is headquartered in Gurgaon, India, says it has weathered the downturn and 'emerged in a strong position with a strong balance sheet'.
In 2008 the firm already had a sales presence in the US and Europe, its two main markets. At the end of 2008 it launched a delivery center in Shanghai, servicing the China, Japan and South Korea markets; followed by one in Poland in February 2010 to service Western and Eastern Europe.
The new Abu Dhabi office continues the spread of Annik's service capability, and is strengthened by a new partnership with Yousif AlSuwaidi, a financial specialist. Finance is one of three key sectors where Annik's CEO and President Rahul Sahgal believes the market for data quality and management services will boom, the others being airlines and government clients. According to Sahgal, 'Annik is poised to take advantage of this development by providing high-value services that can make a meaningful difference to these institutions.'
Annik recently opened a sales office in Tokyo, Japan, and has appointed Justin Tomboulian to run it as SVP, North and East Asia and Global Alliance Manager for the Microsoft account. Tomboulian spent the last fourteen years at Microsoft, working in marketing, data management and IT solution delivery across a number of world regions. He has spent more than a dozen years in Asia, mostly in Japan, and speaks Japanese.
Rudy Nadilo joins as SVP, North America, based in the Boston area. His thirty years in MR and related industries include spells at MRCA and IRI and as the founding CEO of Greenfield Online. Gary Stocks continues to look after Annik's market research activities in Europe.
