Panel firm e-Rewards, Inc. has announced that it is adopting the name of its recent acquisition, Research Now, on a worldwide basis with immediate effect; and is introducing a new corporate identity.
The Research Now name had been retained alongside e-Rewards since the $85.1m buy completed nine months ago, and insiders had long been hinting that it was the preferred name of the two and was likely to replace the e-Rewards brand in a forthcoming consolidation.
CEO Chris Havemann (pictured) says the adoption of a single brand name is 'a strategically important move for the integration of the two companies'. Havemann was Chief Exec of Research Now before the acquisition and stepped up to assume overall management responsibility for the enlarged group alongside Research Now Chairman Geoff Westmore when the buy took place.
Craig Stevens, EVP Americas, comments: 'We are excited about the consolidation of these two brands and our unique position in the rapidly evolving market research industry.'
Of the rebrand, EVP and CMO Bill Russo comments, 'With all we now have to offer our clients, we want our visual identity to reinforce what the Research Now brand stands for in a fresh, progressive and exciting way... We are pleased to re-introduce ourselves as Research Now and we invite our clients to experience our new brand identity by visiting us at www.researchnow.com .'
The company operates opinion panels in 37 countries, including the Valued Opinions Panel and the e-Rewards Opinion Panels, and runs 21 offices around the globe.
