In the UK, healthcare fieldwork agency WorldOne has acquired data collection agency Field Facts UK. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As revealed by DRNO last month, the Field Facts sale was managed by administrators Leonard Curtis, which confirmed that a number of parties had expressed an interest in acquiring the business as a going concern.
The company - which was founded in 1987 by Marianne Schafer and latterly managed by her son David - offers multi-country data collection through a full range of fieldwork methodologies including mystery shopping.
Following its acquisition by WorldOne, Field Facts will operate under the name WorldOne Studios.
WorldOne CEO Peter Kirk says that the facility is an obvious choice for healthcare interviews, as it is located two blocks from Harley Street, which he describes as 'the premier medical district of London'.
WorldOne, which has offices in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and São Paulo, is online at www.worldone.com .
