Norwegian online survey technology firm QuestBack has acquired Finnish data collection software specialist Digium Oy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the acquisition is expected to create a business with a combined turnover of 22m Euros.
QuestBack provides Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) and online surveys for data collection, analysis and follow-up. The firm is headquartered in Oslo and has offices in a total of 17 countries.
Digium Oy is based in Espoo, Finland and develops browser-based data collection and feedback management services, which it delivers to around 1,000 customers in more than 45 countries.
QuestBack says the acquisition of Digium is a natural continuation of its previous acquisitions, Easyresearch AB (Sweden) and Refleks AS (Norway).
'We have had our eye on Digium for several years, and now the timing was right for both companies,' states QuestBack CEO, Ivar Kroghrud. 'By combining the strengths of our two companies, we will make a major leap towards our goal of becoming the world's preferred supplier of EFM services.'
As part of the deal, Digium's CEO Matti Heikkonen will join the QuestBack management team.
