Nunwood Opens in Sydney and Names Joint MDs

Nunwood has opened an office in Sydney, Australia, headed by former BBC researcher Anna Thomas who joins the company as Joint Managing Director, APAC. Meanwhile Ann Thompson is promoted to Joint MD based in Auckland, NZ.

Last November, Nunwood announced plans to open four new offices this year - in New Zealand, Australia, The Netherlands and California.

Thomas (pictured), who has emigrated from the UK to take up her new role, joins with more than 15 years' marketing strategy and insight experience.

Most recently, she worked as Research Director at UK agency Define Research & Insight. Prior to this, she spent six years at the BBC, where she focused on analysing audience insights to understand the effect of communication on brand loyalty, and delivering behavioural and attitudinal segmentations for radio. Earlier in her career she worked for Omnicom.
