Nunwood has promoted Andy Moore to the position of Global Managing Director, with responsibility for the firm's operations across the European, US and APAC regions. He takes over from Phil Rushfirth, who is moving to Los Angeles to drive the US business.
Moore joined Nunwood earlier in the year as Strategy Director, to support the insight consultancy's international growth strategy. Prior to this, he ran the global insight function at Vodafone, and before this held senior insight roles at at Frito-Lay, Walkers Snackfoods, MARS Petcare Europe and Cussons. He began his career with BMRB.
In his new role based in the firm's Clerkenwell, London office, Moore will oversee the development of Nunwood's geographic business units in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, while driving the customer experience management, branding and segmentation business areas.
'I've spent 20 years on the client side so I have seen both ends of the spectrum in terms of agency quality,' Moore stated. 'I have been genuinely excited by both the current performance and future potential in my short time at Nunwood, and look forward to helping us continue to new heights.'
Rushfirth joined Nunwood in 1996, shortly after it was founded, to create a quant function and run the overall group as MD. He previously held analytics and database management roles at Cisco Systems.
His new role will involve driving growth of the North American business, including the development of Nunwood's new West Coast operations.
