Panel and survey software firm Globalpark has launched 'Social Insight Connect' - an integrated Facebook app that collects feedback within the social networking site through a private feedback channel.
The new app aims to add depth to the mass of social media monitoring already on offer. According to CEO Lorenz Graef, it can be used to better understand consumer needs and preferences, test and innovate new products, and extend marketing reach from an 'at-the-ready' audience.
Participating Facebook fans provide their feedback, engage in interactive forums, receive alerts for new projects, and can even redeem any reward points without ever leaving the social networking site.
In addition, market researchers can incorporate the Facebook channel to reach and engage with individuals 'at home' in their Facebook accounts.
'It is important to integrate feedback opportunities into consumers' preferred environments,' states Graef. 'We are committed to bringing the two worlds of research and social media together where it makes sense for our clients, and as a matter of convenience and engagement for participants.'
