Electronics market research specialist IMS Research has appointed 25 new analysts for teams across several sectors in the UK, US, Taiwan, China and Korea.
IMS Research, which was founded in 1989, employs more than 100 analysts who provide syndicated market studies, custom research and consultancy services to clients in the global electronics market.
Headquartered in Northamptonshire, UK, the company opened its Korean office only recently, and plans another soon in Japan.
In 2009, the firm acquired Young Market Research (YMR), which provides marketing intelligence and consulting in the solar, solid-state lighting and display industries.
Its recent recruits will work across the consumer electronics, LED and displays, power, energy, security and industrial sectors.
CEO and founder Matthew Towers says the hires are in response to client demand. 'Recruiting and retaining the best analysts in three continents ensures that we are well positioned to provide global insight, identify threats and spot opportunities that our clients rely on for their strategic business decisions'.
