IMS Rolls out 'Strategic Market Assessment' Service

UK-headquartered electronics market specialist IMS Research has launched a new 'Strategic Market Assessment' (SMA) service, which will provide clients with recommendations for the best markets to focus on to achieve profitable business growth.

Ian WeightmanIMS Research, which was founded in 1989, employs more than 100 analysts who provide syndicated market studies, custom research and consultancy services to clients in the global electronics market.

The firm recently appointed 25 new analysts for teams across several sectors in the UK, US, Taiwan, China and Korea.

Its new SMA service relies on a methodology developed from IMS's own consultancy projects, which uses a five stage process, with detailed feedback being given to the client after each stage.

Each SMA project is managed by one of IMS Research's Research Directors, with support from the relevant analyst teams.
