In the US, Alan Gould, the co-founder of ad effectiveness measurement firm IAG Research, has joined Harris Interactive's Board of Directors, to chair the firm's newly established Board Committee on Product Innovation.
Gould and his partner Ken Orkin co-founded IAG Research in 2000, to provide real-time ad effectiveness measures for programs viewed on TV, the Internet and mobile devices. The firm was acquired by Nielsen in 2008 for $250m, and rebranded as Nielsen IAG, where Gould served as CEO of Advertiser Solutions until last November.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a campaign manager and communications consultant for various candidates for public office. He is currently an Executive in Residence at venture capital firm Greycroft Partners, which invests in digital media firms and counts MR technology and online sample firm uSamp among its portfolio.
