Senior Promotions for Rentrak

US-based multi-screen audience measurement firm Rentrak Corporation has added the role of Corporate President to the duties of Cathy Hetzel, already President of its Advanced Media and Information (AMI) division; and has promoted Ron Giambra from EVP to President of Theatrical Worldwide.

Hetzel joined Rentrak in 2004 and is a 29-year cable and media industry veteran, who has led the growth of Rentrak's media measurement and analytic services across the film, television, cable, Internet, mobile and advertising industries; and helped to launch its video-on-demand (VOD) businessand build its set-top box-based television measurement business.

Giambra has spent the last decade at Rentrak, and became EVP of the Theatrical unit in 2008 after spells as VP and SVP. His achievements include helping to develop and launch the box office performance reporting system, Box Office Essentials, both domestically and internationally; and smoothing the £15m acquisition and integration of Nielsen EDI.
