Keller Fay Hires for European Expansion

US-based word-of-mouth (WOM) research and consulting firm Keller Fay has opened a UK office in London, and appointed GfK NOP veteran Steve Thomson to spearhead its introduction to Europe.

Steve ThomsonNew Jersey-based Keller Fay focuses exclusively on WOM marketing, and offers research-based approaches for testing, tracking and improving clients' WOM campaigns.

In December, the firm rolled out its proprietary TalkTrack brand conversation tracking panel in the UK, following its launch in the US in 2006.

Thomson joins from Ipsos, where for the past two years he has served as Client Group Director. Prior to this he spent nearly 20 years at GfK NOP and its predecessor companies: he originally joined Roper/INRANY in 1988 and then worked at Parker Tanner, prior to its absorption into the US group Roper Starch and subsequent acquisition by GfK. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years at Research International; initially as Group Head in the UK, and later as VP in New York.

While at Roper ASW, he worked with Keller Fay founders Ed Keller and Brad Fay.
