InSites Consulting Boosts London Team

May 26 2011

Belgian-based research agency InSites Consulting has announced four new hires for its London office. They include two new Business Directors: former senior GfK exec Aaron Rattue, and Simon McDonald, until now a Managing Partner at Australian-based agency The Leading Edge.

The firm, which has additional offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Romania and last month announced plans for a US location, says it has seen 'rapid and sustained growth' in its UK business since opening its Central London office in February 2010. Group revenues rose 30% in 2010 headcount increased by a third to 120.

Technology and telecoms specialist Rattue is a veteran of GfK, serving recently as Global Sales and Marketing Director within the Retail & Technology team, and as Business Director for Telecoms.

Prior to TLE, McDonald founded media specialist agency Firefly Research, headed the insight team for the Financial Times and was a Director at Ipsos Media.

In addition, InSites has hired two community research consultants, Laxmi Chhaya - formerly of GfK NOP and RSCG Riley - and Antonno Versteeg, who worked previously as an independent consultant with a focus on sustainability, brand activation and co-creation.

Christophe Vergult, Managing Partner with responsibility for international expansion, says the firm aims to support global clients 'by helping them to connect with customers, wherever they are' and points to recent major contract wins. He concludes: 'These results support our decision to accelerate our international plan by opening a US office in Q1 2012.'
