Customer loyalty and brand communications specialist GfK Research Dynamics has promoted Angelo Pierro and Joseph Schiappa to Joint Managing Directors, overseeing the further development of GfK's Custom Research business across Canada.
Pierro, who joined the group in 1999, was previously SVP of GfK Research Dynamics' Client Services division. Earlier in his career, he spent four years as a senior manager at The NPD Group.
Schiappa has been with the company for nearly 20 years, having previously held the position of SVP of GfK Research Dynamic's Operations and Finance, responsible for strengthening numerous international initiatives.
'Angelo and Joseph both have extensive client experience across multiple sectors and will be instrumental in driving GfK's strategic international initiatives,' states Debra Pruent, a member of the GfK SE Management Board. Pruent says the hires will also 'strengthen [the firm's] commitment to developing top tier talent.'
