TNS has appointed former Harris exec Stephan Sigaud as Head of its North American Customer Experience Management practice. The firm has also hired former GfK HR strategist Paul Fiolek as Head of Human Resources.

Stephan SigaudSigaud, who brings more than twenty years of MR experience, most recently worked at Northstar Research Partners in Toronto as EVP, Corporate Development. Before this, as Group President at Harris Interactive he had P&L responsibility for the firm's Advertising, Brand, Loyalty, Product and Qualitative research divisions, and previously he served as President of the company's Customer Loyalty Management practice.

Earlier in his career, Sigaud set up the US operations of European research-based consulting firm, IDSI, which he later bought and then sold to custom business research agency Find/SVP (now known as Guideline).

Sam Thayer, Chief Development Officer for TNS North America, says Sigaud brings 'a wealth of experience and deep subject-matter expertise' that will help to optimize the practice.

Fiolek joins after nearly four years with GfK, where he was responsible for HR strategic planning and execution, talent management and recruitment, and organizational development to improve business performance and corporate culture. Prior to GfK, he spent 12 years at Sony BMG Music Entertainment in New York, also in HR leadership roles.

David Kieselstein, CEO, TNS North America, says Fiolek brings 'deep market research industry knowledge and a breadth of experience across HR disciplines', and is 'a strong HR leader and innovator.'
