UK-based co-creation and planning agency Face is opening an office in New York later this month, and has relocated its most senior Research Director Philip McNaughton to lead and develop US operations.
Face, which employs a mix of researchers, planners, brand strategists and social media experts, offers a combination of co-creation and 'netnography' methods to enable brands to interact directly with consumers.
Part of the 'Cello London Hub', which also includes Farm, Opticomm and Tangible, the firm says its New York operation has been set up to service its growing number of US and South American clients.
McNaughton will recruit and grow teams of community and co-creation researchers, with plans to appoint six staff initially and expand the team 'significantly' during the first three years.
MD Job Muscroft comments: 'Moving into the US and South American markets is a crucial part of the Face growth strategy. I am delighted that Philip McNaughton has agreed to set up the office and grow the US operations. He has a long background in research, covering both qualitative and social media research.'
Separately, in the UK, Face has appointed former Opinion Leader Research exec Crystal Evans as Associate Research Director, and ex-FreshMinds Research analyst Ludwig Duran as Senior Research Executive.
