In New York, media monitoring and measurement specialist EmPower Research has set up an innovation center called 'InnoLabs', through which it will develop methods to generate insights using unstructured social media data.
EmPower Research uses proprietary methodologies to listen and learn about online conversations, and combines this technology with human intelligence to provide guidance to its clients.
Its new InnoLabs is headed by Anupama Muraleedharan, who previously led EmPower Research's anaytics services.
