Indian MR technology and operations company Annik is opening a new office in London, led by former Globalpark manager Alex Happe, and an office in Sydney, Australia headed by former employee Meena Kumari.
Established in 2000, India-based Annik provides MR support, data analysis, data management and programming support to clients around the world. The firm currently has additional offices in the US in San Francisco and Boston, as well as operations in the UAE, China, France, Poland and Japan.
Happe joins the new London office as Vice President, Business Development with 25 years' market research experience. For the past five years, he has served as Senior Sales Manager at panel and survey software firm Globalpark, prior to which he was Business Development Director at RONIN Development and Sales Executive at SPSS MR.
Rudy Nadilo, SVP, Global Business Development, comments: 'As one of the largest market research business centres in the world, London is a place where Annik must have local presence. Alex has deep market research sales and operations experience, and combine that with his many years of direct client service in the UK and it's obvious he's a real asset for us.'
Kumari re-joins the firm after stints as a Sales Executive at Marcus Evans and a Business Solutions Consultant at Australian telecoms firm Optus. Earlier in her career, she spent three years at Annik in senior administration roles.
Nadilo cites a growing Australian client roster as the primary reason for opening an office in Sydney: 'As we do more and more work in Australia, it's important to be able to work with our clients directly. Given Meena's extensive knowledge of Annik's culture, products and services we're extremely glad to have her there.'
